This beach lies at the southern tip of the delta, about 320 km. from capital city Dhaka . From it's wide sandy beach one can enjoy both sunrise and sun set. The Buddhist Temple holds a 100 years old statue of Buddha, the largest Buddha statue of Bangladesh . The unique custom and costumes of Rakhayne tribal families reflects the ancient tradition and cultural heritage. Kuakata is truly a virgin beach, a sanctuary for migratory winter birds.
